About Plymplastics
Plymplastics is a manufacturer, specialising in the plastic injection moulding of thermoplastics and its associated activities, based on the outskirts of Plymouth, just on the edge of Dartmoor. We started up in a garage on a small injection moulding machine a few years ago, but have now moved into larger premises, enabling us to expand the business and produce larger parts with larger machines.
With over 30 years’ of experience, we can provide the perfect solution for businesses looking to mass-produce and manufacture plastic parts and products. From high-volume manufacturing to small batch runs, we supply moulding services to a wide range of industries, from the automotive industry to medical device moulding. Using our range of moulding machines, we process a wide variety of thermoplastics on our range of injection moulding machines. In addition, we also carry out lots of post moulding activities including inserting, printing, drilling, welding, and assembly work.
Our Vision
The past couple of years have brought us many challenges and we are sure there will be more in 2023. We will, however, keep driving forward with our plans to grow the business sustainably.
By using recycled material wherever possible, in our non-engineered components, we are actively working towards being more sustainable. Moving forward, Plymplastics is planning on replacing our current injection moulding machines with more efficient all-electric, servo-driven machines. Eventually, we would like to have some of our power supplied by renewable energy, with the installation of solar panels. We have just purchased a larger 200T injection moulding machine, this will allow us to produce components up to 300gms each, providing a wider range of component sizes for our customers.
Tool Re-shoring Services
